Cookie Policy

This Policy defines the rules for creating, storing and accessing information on the User’s devices using Cookies in order to provide electronic services requested by the User.

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. In order to provide services electronically, the Administrator creates and stores temporary files and gains access to selected information on the User’s devices.
  2. Cookies – means binary data, usually small text files, saved and stored on the User’s devices, which are used in programming languages to improve communication between the website and the user.
  3. Cookies created on user devices may come both from the Administrator’s system (so-called own Cookies) and from external programs supervising communication on the Internet (so-called external Cookies, e.g. from Google and other websites).
  4. Users have the option to limit or disable cookies’ access to their Device. If they choose this option, they will be able to use the Website, except for functions that, by their nature, require cookies.

II. Purposes of using cookies

  1. Cookies and similar technologies are used on websites to ensure correct data transmission between connected computers. They have a wide range of applications, helping to customize the content of a page’s settings on the recipient’s computer, remembering the preferred appearance of the page, such as the font size, and ensuring that the user completes several steps (e.g., adding an item, making a purchase in an online store). Cookies can also be used to tailor the displayed advertisements to the interests of website visitors. Cookie technology is essential for the proper display of interactive pages.
  2. In addition to cookies sent from the website we are connecting to, cookies may also be sent from the servers of websites to which they refer, e.g. Google, YouTube or social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and others.
  3. Generally speaking, we can divide Cookies into two types of files:
    • Session cookies: are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the browser session ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device’s memory. The session cookie mechanism does not allow for the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from the User’s Device;
    • Persistent cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until deleted. Ending a browser session or turning off the Device does not delete them from the User’s Device. The persistent cookie mechanism does not allow for the collection of any personal data or any confidential information from the User’s Device.
  4. Under normal circumstances, cookies are safe for the user. When used correctly, it is impossible for viruses or other unwanted software or malware to enter User Devices. These files allow the identification of the software used by the User. Cookies typically contain the name of the domain from which they originate, their storage time on the Device (which is limited), and an assigned value (key).
  5. Cookies do not collect any personal information, including names and email addresses.
  6. Every user can change cookie settings in their browser, including completely disabling the ability to save cookies. If a user does not disable cookies from various websites, this effectively means they consent to their storage and saving on their computer.
  7. The user may delete cookies at any time using the functions available in the web browser he or she uses.

  11. It should be noted that cookie technology is used by hackers to infect computers and introduce malware. Cookie technology, which is intended to ensure proper communication with the website server, is in this case misused. • Google AdSense [cookie administrator: Google Inc., based in the USA]
  14. The User may independently and at any time change their Cookie settings, specifying the conditions for their storage and access by Cookie files to the User’s Device. The User may change the settings referred to in the preceding sentence using the web browser settings or through the service configuration. These settings may be changed, in particular, to block the automatic handling of Cookies in the web browser settings or to notify the User each time Cookies are placed on the User’s Device.
