MarketCFD is a fraudulent Forex/CFD broker. Clients have reported that they are unable to withdraw their deposited funds. We suggest caution when dealing with individuals employed there, as they may engage in manipulation and aggressive sales techniques.
If you are a victim, please join the Facebook group where other people who have been harmed by brokers gather: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2368922039865323/
What to do if you have been cheated?
- First and foremost, we suggest reporting the matter to the police/prosecutor’s office . Here are the instructions: https://obywatel.gov.pl/bezpieczenstwo/zglos-przestepstwo
- If you paid your deposit via Visa or MasterCard, there is another way to get your money back – chargeback. This is available when other complaint attempts have failed. The procedure is outlined here: https://forexrev.pl/jak-odzyskac-pieniadze-placac-karta-chargeback/
- It’s also worth mentioning a project launched by the Ministry of Justice called the ” Crime Victims Assistance Network .” This is a network of facilities located throughout the country that provide, among other things, free legal, psychological, and social assistance.
A detailed description of their tasks and a list of addresses can be found here: http://warszawa.pr.gov.pl/siec-pomocy-ofiarom-przestepstw
Termination of the broker contract and proof for the bank
If you wish to request a refund through the chargeback procedure, you must have documentation confirming that you attempted to recover the funds from the broker. The best way to do this is to send a notice of termination to all the broker’s email addresses we have on file.
Here you will find a link to a sample letter ( download ).
Below is a short comment from our reader, nicknamed “0prawca”, who provided a sample letter:
I signed this letter with a qualified certificate and sent it to all the email addresses I had from Dowmarkets. In fact, I sent it solely to have a document for the bank (where I filed the complaint) confirming my willingness to recover the money I had invested incorrectly.
How can I check if someone took out a loan in my name?
It is best to use the services of the Credit Information Bureau – https://www.bik.pl/klienci-indywidualni
There, for a small fee, you can download a report on your credits or activate SMS monitoring, which will inform you about new credits.
